About This Makes More Than You

This Makes More Than You is a small, fun website built around one question: how does your salary compare with the earnings of a very simple business? You enter an annual salary and the page shows which of the 70 featured businesses, websites, YouTube channels and side hustles are reported to earn more per month.

Where the numbers come from

Revenue figures on the site are estimates based on publicly available data, traffic analysis and industry reports. They are rough, they change over time, and they should be read as illustrations rather than promises. Your own results in any similar venture could be very different.

Independence

The site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any of the businesses or people it mentions, and nothing on it is financial, investment or business advice.
